R and R Review

GHOST RIDERS: FORTUNE TELLER

Recently I have had the honor to feel the musical

power of Ghost Riders.

Their debut album Fortune

Teller is a kaleidescope of sound, from the super

touching and heart-felt "I Want The Blues Tonight" to

the cleverly written "Handy Man", which is packed full

of sexual innuendos and a great blues vibe.

For a more

country feel check out "Gone South", There Goes

Another Love Song", "Track 12(100 Proof)", or

"G.R.I.T.S.

", an amazingly written song, a great play

on words with a beat to keep you moving.

"Fortune

Teller" and "Whiskey Drinking Woman" have a southern

rock grove that never loses your interest.

"Shotgun

Run" and "Ballad Of The Ghost Rider" have a darker

more mysterious sound all very pleasing to your

senses.

"Song For The Angels" is a very powerful

instrumental.

This CD contains many wonderful songs

and sounds from country, to southern rock and even

blues, and to my surprise a song that will remain

among my very favorites "I Want The Blues Tonight", a

beautifully written and arranged song.

Ghost Riders,

Fortune Teller has firmly planted it's "Roots" among

my must haves!!

"I was asked to help Greg Kelly's organization a few years ago. I consider it an honor and a privilege to help our service members and families who gave everything to help keep freedom alive. Anything more that I can do I will do so to the utmost of my ability," said legendary musician Simon Kirke (Free and Bad Company). All proceeds go directly to The American Veterans Aid Fund - VETUNES(R) (www.americanveteransaidfund.com) (US), a 501(c)3, tax-exempt veterans charity and The Royal British Legion (http://www.britishlegion.org.uk/) (UK) for the aid and assistance of our veterans and their families.

The United States -- United Kingdom Donation Px comes not from the intellect of mere mortals but is forged from the honor and sacrifice, commitment and tears, joy and pain, love and memories of our veterans and their families.

"Like myself you may never have met our brothers Corporal Joseph S. Tremblay, 3-25 Battalion, 4th Marine Division, United States Marine Corps (http://www.marinecorpstributebike.com/) or Pfc. Anthony D'Agostino, 16th Signal Brigade, 1st Cavalry Division, United States Army and this did not matter to them. Honoring the great traditions of patriots past, with the greatest love known to mankind and without hesitation they gave their lives for us," said Greg Kelly President American Veterans Aid Fund, SGT/US Army 1982-86, 82nd Airborne Division (Grenada) - 2nd Infantry Division (DIVARTY-HQ Camp Stanley, Republic of Korea).

"The custom bike built by Gold Star Parent Lawrence Tremblay, Sr., is adorned with custom artwork reflecting the loss suffered by Gold Star Parents of our two great nations. It is the symbol of the torch carried by Gold Star Parents Lawrence Tremblay Sr., Steven D'Agostino and all our families committed to pay tribute and to honor the lives of our Brothers/Sisters-in-Arms who paid the ultimate price for us and the unparalleled experience of Gold Star Parents; that the Simon Kirke Signature Series, Gold Star Parents Edition, United States--United Kingdom Veterans Tribute Bike with Matching Southern Fried Guitar was born," said legendary musician Simon Kirke (Free and Bad Company) (http://www.myspace.com/simonkirke) and USMC - Veteran D.M. Gilbert (Terry Eckard Band and Ambassador Southern Rock Community) (http://www.myspace.com/terryeckardband) in a joint statement. "We wish to extend our sincere gratitude for all those that supported the creation of the rockin memorabilia for the U.S.-UK Veterans Donation Px especially the individual musicians and music communities from our two great nations; This project was made possible by our Classic Rock and Southern Rock Communities, to you we say: 'Veterans Rock...So Do You!'"
